WGA heads to GDC
Madison, WI - February 6th, 2026 - The Wisconsin Games Alliance is excited to announce a partnership with the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco allowing the Midwest to create a larger exposure moment for the region at the largest game industry event in the world.
“This shows how the global games industry is taking the Midwest very seriously and trying to create connections and bridges to this important region in the United States for games. With established developers like Raven, Lost Boys, Respawn, PUBG, PerBlue, and others in Wisconsin and others like NetherRealm, Iron Galaxy, Jackbox, Wargaming, Stardock, and many others around the region, we’ve been able to become an attraction point for more sustainable game development in the US and internationally.” said Ben Kvalo, President of the Wisconsin Games Alliance.
The partnership will feature a number of showcase titles from WGA’s premier event, MDEV. Those titles and developers include:
Dino-Might
Absolutely Not Games
Wordlock
NewtKingGames
Midwest Goodbye
Nonstick Studios
These games will be featured on March 11th-13th at The Festival of Gaming at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA in the GDC Commons area at the Wisconsin Games Alliance kiosk.
